This week we learnt about the star Tupu-ā-nuku, which represents food harvest from the ground. ‘Tupu’ means to grow and ‘nuku’ comes from Papatuanuku – the Earth Mother.
For our wero on Monday we had to do a vegetable taste challenge in our groups. I had to eat Beetroot. It tasted disgusting.
We also planted beans, in different conditions and complete a life cycle of the bean. Here is my bean life cycle.
Today we used all the ground vegetables and made vegetable soup. We created our own recipe.
